Bolinger |
Truman Bolinger was born in Sheridan, Wyoming in 1944. He grew up on his father's ranch near Ucross, Wyoming, and "never really thought about being an artist. I always thought I'd be a rancher." After a year at Sheridan College, he transferred to the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver as a painter. He also studied at the Art Students League in New York City and began as a full time sculptor in 1968. |
