Sharon L. Moreland Carleton was born on October 16, 1947 in Sheridan, Wyoming. She graduated from Sheridan High School and then went on to graduate in 1969 from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana with a B.A. in Interior Design. Her career has included four years with Delta Airlines from 1969 to 1973. As the spouse of a retired career officer in the United States Air Force, she is now threatening to create more sculpture.
