Chuck
DeHaan |
||
Chuck DeHaan was born west of Fort Worth, Texas in 1933. DeHaan is a traditional oil painter and sculptor of the contemporary cowboy. He was self taught in art and one of his first jobs was breaking colts at a dollar a day. His rodeo career started when he rode his first bull at the age of thirteen. Eventually he went into training cutting horses. DeHaan ran his own advertising agency for twelve years and then cut his customers to a very narrow group so that he could pursue his full time requests for his paintings. | ||
