Austin Deuel

| Austin Deuel was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1939. He taught art at the junior college level, managed an art gallery, and wrote a San Diego newspaper column on artifacts. He is a sculptor, painter and muralist. Austin Deuel is a member of the American Indian and Cowboy Artists Association. During the Vietnam era he was a Marine combat artist and in 1986 he completed the San Antonio Vietnam Veterans Memorial. | ||
