Born in Livonia, Michigan, Robin Earles relocated to California with her family before the age of ten. She has pursued study at University of California, Santa Barbara and California State University, Long Beach. While at UCSB she focused on studying biology, participated in several field-study activities, and worked for the National Forest Service, Montana. Since 1998, Robin has studied art full time, and recieved a master's degree in illustration from California State University, Long Beach.
