| Fred Fellows was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma in 1934. During his high school years, Fred competed in rodeos. For two years he was a saddlemaker, then learned commercial art on the job in the industry and became an art director. He became a member of the Cowboy Artists of America in 1968. | ||
