Larry Pirnie
Larry Pirnie was born in Waterloo, Iowa on June 15, 1940. He earned a Bachelor Of Fine Arts from the Pratt Institute in New York City in 1963. He has had numerous one man and group exhibitions, and has served on the Montana Arts Council and other art associations and boards. Larry Pirnie's style in painting has evolved over his career so that his pictures represent his total relationship with the West. Larry has said, "My pictures today have evolved into a more expressive style as I respond to a whimsical mixture of yesterday's fantasies and today's realities."
