Sharon Rajnus

A native Oregonian, Sharon Rajnus has made the state her professional base for many years. After graduating from Oregon State University, where she studied biology and art, she spent five years teaching science and art to high school students. During this time, she began working in her own art studio, responding to requests from local art galleries. The artist has won many awards over the years and her work is included in the collections of the California-Oregon Telephone Company, Oregon State University, and the National Park Service. From her flying activities in Canada and Alaska, she was the winner of the Experimental Aircraft Association Sport Aviation Art Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She has been represented in numerous regional and national wildlife exhibits and continues to illustrate graphic projects including noted publications for the Lava Beds National Monument. The artist has a son and daughter and lives with her husband in an artful home filled with paintings and works in progress.
